My kids love deep fried chicken wings. I love them baked. Since I am the one cooking, I made a compromise solution so that we meet halfway.
I partially boil the wings punctured (using the fork) in water flavored with garlic and seasoning, making sure that the water is violently boiling before I dip the wings using a frying basket. I let them drip for a moment just to remove excess water.
I roll the wings on seasoning, or sometimes on just a combination Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce, then
bake in preheated oven.
We get crispy chicken wings with flavor.
